Choosing an urn
How much ash remains after cremation?
The amount of ash varies greatly depending on the size and weight of the deceased as well as the coffin. Contact your funeral director or the crematorium to find out the exact amount.
What sizes are available?
We offer urns in various sizes. The exact dimensions are listed on each product page. For placement in a niche, please check the dimensions of the space.
How do I choose the right urn?
Take your time. Personal style, shape, colour and size all play an important role. Every urn is a unique handcrafted piece. We are also happy to help you personally.
Are your urns suitable for children or babies?
Yes. For children and babies, small urns or mini urns are particularly suitable, keeping the loved one close.
Are your urns suitable for pets?
Yes. Our small and mini urns are ideal for preserving the memory of a beloved pet.
Can I have my urn engraved?
Yes. We offer engraving with a name, date or personal message. Contact us for more information.
Order & delivery
How quickly will my order be delivered?
Orders are generally delivered within 2 working days throughout Switzerland, to your home, funeral director or crematorium.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Yes, contact us as quickly as possible. Cancellation is only possible as long as the order has not yet left our warehouse.
What if my urn arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately. We will find a quick solution and send you a new urn as soon as possible.
Can I return or exchange an urn?
Yes, within 14 calendar days of delivery, provided the urn is unused and undamaged. Personalised urns cannot be exchanged or returned.
Filling & storing the urn
Can I fill the urn myself?
Yes. Lay paper on a stable surface, carefully pour the ashes into the ash bag, close it and push it fully into the urn. Then seal the lid with adhesive.
How do I seal the urn after filling?
We recommend transparent contact adhesive. If you want to be able to reopen the urn later, use transparent silicone instead.
Am I allowed to keep the urn at home?
In most Swiss cantons, ashes must be interred at an official cemetery. Mini urns as a keepsake can often be kept at home. Please check with your funeral director.
Can I place the urn outdoors?
Glazed ceramic urns are frost-resistant and suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Biodegradable urns are not suitable for outdoor use.
